Between January 2019 and November 2020, TBA Communications installed over 120 new TV transmitters for the TV re-pack initiative.  Take a look through our “Showcase” to see some examples of our work!

With our work on the television repack clearing the upper 300 MHz of the UHF TV spectrum complete, our attention shifts to the C-band satellite spectrum transition that is radically changing the landscape of the 3.7 to 4.2GHz frequency. Over the next three years all registered satellite antennas must retrofitted or replaced to comply with the FCC’s mandated spectrum re-allocation of the lower 280 MHz of the band which has been auctioned to the mobile carriers for 5G use. This means that over 1600 C-Band satellite earth stations operating in the 3.7–4.0 GHz portion of the band will have to be repacked, or relocated, into the upper 200 MHz (4.0–4.2 GHz).
